ZappyCards vs. ProsperQR: Which is the Best Google Review Card?
In this post, I'll compare ZappyCards and ProsperQR, two companies offering Google Review Stands designed to help local businesses easily collect customer reviews. After thoroughly evaluating both options, I'll determine which one is the superior choice.
The comparison will focus on key criteria: shipping speed and cost, ease of setup, product design and quality, return policy, and price. Let's dive in to see how ZappyCards and ProsperQR stack up against each other and identify the winner.
ZappyCards vs. ProsperQR: Key Differences
At first glance, ZappyCards and ProsperQR offer a similar solution to help your business gather more Google reviews. However, there are two key differences worth considering.
First, ZappyCards primarily sells through their Shopify website and attracts customers using paid social media ads, especially on Instagram. In contrast, ProsperQR mainly sells on Amazon.com and relies on customer reviews rather than paid advertising. This distinction is significant, and I'll explain why shortly.
The second key difference is that ZappyCards doesn't have a QR code. It relies on a NFC chip to get customer reviews, whereas ProsperQR has both NFC and a QR code.
NFC vs. QR Code: Which is Better for Getting Google Reviews?
Near Field Communication (NFC) is a tiny chip, embedded inside the Google Review Card.

It allows customers to tap their phone to leave a review, which is quick and convenient. However, NFC's major limitation is its short range, typically less than one inch, requiring customers to be close enough to the device to leave a review.
While QR codes aren't necessarily beautiful, they offer 2 benefits.
- Distance. Customers can scan a QR code from over 10 feet away, unlike NFC which only reaches an inch.
- Compatibility. QR codes are also compatible with a wider range of phones. A small percentage of customers have older phones that can't read NFC chips, whereas QR codes ensure compatibility for everyone.
NFC vs. QR Code - Winner: ProsperQR
In the NFC vs. QR code category, ProsperQR is the winner. ZappyCards only supports NFC, meaning customers with older phones might not be able to leave a review. Additionally, NFC requires customers to physically tap their phone, which can limit placement options for your Google Review Card.
ProsperQR, on the other hand, supports both NFC and QR codes. Customers who prefer the convenience of NFC can easily tap their phone, while those with older phones or who prefer scanning from a distance can use the QR code option. Because ProsperQR accommodates more customers, it ultimately helps you capture more reviews.
Quick Disclaimer: Before continuing, I want to disclose that ProsperQR is my company, which I started in 2023. Although ProsperQR is my business, I am committed to presenting only facts to provide you with an objective non-biased review.. My goal is to clearly outline the differences, enabling you to make an informed decision about which product best suits your needs.
I'd genuinely prefer if you bought my competitor's product than mislead you into buying mine and leave you unhappy. My goal is simple: if ProsperQR is right for you, you'll know exactly what you're getting and be satisfied. If ZappyCards suits you better, I’d rather you go with them and be equally happy.
ZappyCards vs. ProsperQR: Which is the Easiest to Setup?
After purchasing a ZappyCard, you'll receive an email containing a PDF guide outlining two different methods to program your ZappyCard review card.
How to setup ZappyCards:
- Download App. Download the NFC TOOLS mobile app which will be used to program the NFC chip in your ZappyCard.
- Sign In. In a separate web browser, sign in to your Google my business profile page.
- Copy Review Link. Navigate to your reviews link page and copy the review link.
- Program NFC Chip. Go back to the mobile app and follow the instructions in the PDF on how to use the app to program the link you copied into your NFC chip.

How to Setup ProsperQR:
- Scan the QR code. You will be directed to a page where you can login with either Google or email.
- Enter your Business Name. You will see a page with a Google Map. Enter in your business name and click save.
- Your NFC & QR code are ready. ProsperQR automatically programs both the NFC chip and QR code in your Google Review Card to link to your business. Now when customers scan your card they will be directed to leave you a review on Google.

Ease of Setup – Winner: ProsperQR
ProsperQR wins this round. Setting it up took less time—and I didn't need to download any apps or search for my Google review page link. ProsperQR handled everything automatically.
ZappyCards vs. ProsperQR Return Policy
ZappyCards offers a 90-day refund policy, but there are specific conditions you'll need to meet to qualify:
- Track Your Reviews: Keep a record of your average monthly Google reviews before and during the use of ZappyCards. Documentation of this data is critical for your refund claim.
- Evaluate the Results: If your reviews have not doubled after the 90-day period, compile evidence such as screenshots, analytics data, and other relevant documentation
While these requirements make sense from ZappyCards' perspective, as a business owner, fulfilling them can feel tedious and time-consuming.
ProsperQR Refund Policy
Because ProsperQR sells through Amazon, its policy aligns directly with Amazon's return policy. You can return your ProsperQR product for free—including shipping—within 30 days, provided the item is in its original condition. There are no additional conditions to meet.
Return Policy - Winner: ProsperQR
ProsperQR is the winner here. While ZappyCards offers a refund if you're unsatisfied, it involves a lengthy process—documenting your reviews for an entire month before and after using the product. In contrast, ProsperQR provides a hassle-free, unconditional 30-day return policy. You can return it for any reason, without the need to demonstrate its effectiveness or provide extensive documentation. Simply put, if you're not happy, you get your money back.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
I placed my ZappyCards order on Feb 9th – it cost $4.80 extra. On Feb 11 I got confirmation that the order had shipped, and finally received the package on Feb 14. It took a total of 5 days from placing the order to receiving it.
For ProsperQR, I placed my Amazon order on Feb 17, and received my package 2 days later on Feb 19. There was no additional charge for shipping.
Shipping - Winner: ProsperQR
As an Amazon Prime member I was able to get free 2-day shipping when I ordered ProsperQR. It's a great deal and the shipping speed can't be beat.
ZappyCards vs. ProsperQR: Which has the Better Price?
Finally—and perhaps most importantly—how do ZappyCards and ProsperQR stack up on price?
At the time of writing, ZappyCards is more expensive than ProsperQR.
The main reason for this price difference comes down to customer acquisition costs. ZappyCards primarily sells through its own Shopify store, relying heavily on paid social media ads—I constantly see their ads on Instagram and Facebook. These advertising campaigns can cost tens of thousands of dollars each month, expenses that ultimately get passed onto customers through higher prices.
ProsperQR, in contrast, primarily sells through Amazon and benefits from organic growth through customer reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations. This slower, reputation-driven approach allows ProsperQR to minimize advertising expenses, ultimately enabling us to offer our products to you at lower prices.
Price: Compare Prices Before You Buy
Since prices fluctuate frequently and may have changed by the time you're reading this, I won't provide specifics here. Instead, I'll share links to both products so you can check the latest prices yourself.

Final Results - ProsperQR Wins!
After comparing ease of use, refund policies, shipping, and pricing, it's clear that ProsperQR emerges as the better option. With its seamless setup, hassle-free returns through Amazon, and customer compatibility, ProsperQR provides greater convenience and value overall. If you're looking for simplicity, effectiveness, and more customer reviews, ProsperQR is the way to go.
